According to the local Financial Monitoring Agency, more than 700 pieces of mining equipment were found and seized during a search in Almaty. In Nursultan, the authorities identified 159 bitcoin miners.
The work of the mobile group to identify and disable cryptocurrency mining farms will continue, the Ministry of Energy said.
